You are cordially invited to join Nectar Wine Imports for an exciting evening with Winemaker, Jake Hawkes of Hawkes Vineyards and Winery (Alexander Valley, California). Explore a variety of Hawkes' wines including the Hawkes 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon (released in Vintages Feb. 5 2011), 2008 Chardonnay, 2006 Merlot, and 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon; and as a special treat, Hawkes' rare single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons.

The Hawkes family has been farming wine grapes in the Alexander Valley, Sonoma, for over 30 years. Historically, providing grapes to many high-quality wineries known for producing highly-regarded wines, Hawkes began producing their own critically-acclaimed wines with the return of Jake Hawkes to the family business in 2002. Producing Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Hawkes wines are quickly gaining an avid following of wine enthusiasts, enthralled with wines that are big and expressive, yet allow the grapes to speak to the land they came from.
